Embedded into CPower’s marketing department for over 7 years, I was able to help their sales and marketing team grow brand awareness in the marketplace from a relatively unknown post-merger startup to a respected leader and resource in the demand-side energy management space.
This establishment as an industry thought leader ultimately contributed to CPower’s acquisition and continued growth as the largest curtailment service provider in North America.

Was heavily involved in developing and executing the company’s first-ever Growth Plan - a comprehensive multi-year sales and marketing plan.

Responsible for targeted email campaigns for a 20,000+ contact database, including design, deployment, A/B testing, and performance reporting using Marketo.

Creating a marketing infrastructure
Having formed when two established energy management companies combined businesses, CPower opened as a standalone “restart” in 2014 with just over 80 employees wondering about the future and more than 1,500 commercial customers in need of stellar customer service.
After developing a comprehensive sales and marketing plan, creating an online culture-building hub for team members, and establishing its first website, I worked to help craft stories that positioned CPower as the foremost thinkers in the energy management industry, indispensable partners whose trusted guidance helped the electric grid evolve to a cleaner, more dependable energy future and allowed organizations to maximize their energy assets.

I managed the newsletter sends, content publication, and designed all of the graphics and imagery needed for a consistent engaging experience.

An educational series that still serves as a core backbone of CPower’s content strategy. Integrated into a lead scoring system with the Vidyard platform and Marketo, we were able to track consumption and provide new prospects with these simple videos about complex topics.
